New Year Masters Swim Meet:

Our annual New Year Masters Swim Meet is open to all swimmers age 18 and older. The meet will be held Sunday, January 13 with warm-ups at 8:00 a.m. and events beginning at 8:30 a.m. See our website or contact Kathy Undercuffler, Aquatic Director, at 610-369-9622 for registration information.

Special Olympics Swim Team:
Location: Daniel B. Boyer Center
For ages: 6 years and older
Each Wednesday, 6:45-7:30 p.m., beginning November 7 through Spring, the Boyertown Area YMCA sponsored team trains for the Spring Special Olympic Festival. All special needs students ages 6 and older are welcome to join with all ages and levels of ability instructed, especially beginners. Classes are held in our heated indoor pool, with wheelchair accessible ramp. Pre-registration is requested, and volunteers are always welcome to assist wtih instruction and coaching. This program is offered FREE to the community.

Navy Seals Competitive Swim Team:
Location: Daniel B. Boyer Center
For ages: Ages 6 to 18
Our highly successful winter swim team accommodates swimmers ages 6 to 18 and involves all ability levels. The 2007-2008 season begins 9/16, for the Gold and Silver groups and 9/23 for the Bronze, Navy, Teal, and 8 & younger groups. Registration will be required for returning Navy Seals swimmers who have not registered in the year-round program on 9/11, 6-7:30 p.m. or 9/13, 6-7:30 p.m. Those who registered in our year-round program in May are not required to re-register. All swimmers must be registered before beginning practice. New and prospective swimmers: An overview of our program will be given and questions will be answered by head coach, Linda Jones. Experienced swimmers, 9/11, 7 p.m.; swimmers new to winter competitive swimming, 9/13, 7 p.m. Final registration and payment dates for new swimmers will be Wednesday, 9/26 or Sunday, 9/30, 6-7:30 p.m. All team members are required to have a YMCA Wellness membership. The team fee and a $25 per swimmer escrow deposit will need to be paid at registration. Payment options are: personal check, Mastercard, Visa, Discover or 3 month EZ Pay from a checking/savings account (Oct., Nov., Dec. on the 15th of the month). TEAM FEES:

Fees for returning swimmers registering after 9/13 will be an additional $25/child. Registration for new swimmers after 9/30 an additional $25/child.
Team fee includes: Team T-shirt, two team caps, and entry fees for Division Championship meet.

BYNS/USS/YMCA Year Round Swim Team:

For ages: na
Designed for swimmers in Bronze practice level and above and by coaches’ approval for new swimmers. Swimmers will be registered in the USS program, BYNS and the Mako Sharks team (if desired). YMCA and USS memberships are required as well as a Boyertown Community Pool membership. Registration for year-round swimmer program for the season 2007-2008 will be held Tuesday, 3/27 and Thursday, 3/29,
6-7:30 p.m. The year-round swimmer program may be paid in full or EZ Pay from 5/07 to 12/07.
Practice will begin Sunday, 4/15.

Mako Sharks Summer Team:

For ages: varies
Join our summer swim team and make new friends, learn teamwork, gain confidence and self-esteem, and reach new goals. The team practices at the Boyertown Area YMCA and the Boyertown Borough Community Pool. All team members must have a membership to the Boyertown Community Pool. An orientation for new/prospective members will be held 5/7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Boyertown Area YMCA Daniel B. Boyer Center.
Registration will be held 5/12 and 5/14, 6-7:30 p.m.
