Aqua-Lates:

This class offers unique variations of traditional Pilates, with strength and flexibility exercises for the upper body, lower body, back, and abdominals. Held in shallow water, we’ll utilize an assortment of equipment for resistance and stability.

Swim for the Health of It:
Location: Daniel B. Boyer Center
For ages: 7th Grade and older
Join this small group of swimmers to stay in shape utilizing a non-impact workout. Swimming 45 to 75 minutes a few times a week can add to a cross-training routine, take a recreational fitness swimmer to the next level, or keep the past competitive swimmer at his/her peak. This program helps swimmers of all ability levels and offers participants the opportunity to compete in Masters competitions (ages 19 and older). Coach Shannon will lead and instruct the group, providing stroke instruction and challenging workouts.

Aqua-L.I.T.E. (Low Impact Training Exercise):

We’ll do shallow water power exercises utilizing the water’s turbulence and resistance to elevate your heart rate, strengthen muscles, and increase flexibility. No swimming experience necessary.

Arthritis Foundation YMCA Aquatic Program:
