"BUILDING STRONG KIDS" Annual Support Campaign
- Please help us build strong kids. Child Care, Summer Day Camp, Swim Lessons, Youth Sports, and Teen Leadership are a few examples of how the Boyertown Area YMCA helps to build strong kids. But we truly need your support.
Did you know:
Last year we taught 2,063 lessons to children on how to swim, how to be safe in the water and, if need be, how to save others. - Collectively, since 1992 when our pool first opened, we have provided over 32,929 swim lessons to children age 6 months to 12 years of age.
- Collectively, over 1,985 youth and teens attend our monthly socials, dances and teen nights.
- Currently we have 232 pre-school and 292 school-age children enrolled in our licensed childcare programs. Last year we had 556 campers registered in our summer camp programs.
- In 2009, 485 recipients benefited from our Golden Rule Financial Assistance program. Golden Rule Financial Assistance helps single-parent families in need, seniors on fixed incomes, or families who suddenly find themselves with no financial means of support due to a loss of job, disability or illness as well as many other dire situations.
Your generous support will ensure that all children, especially those in need of financial assistance, have the opportunity to participate in YMCA programs.
